I think the idea of building furniture, that we interact with, is what draws me to custom furniture. I love being able to create something that fits an individuals life and helps them relate to this world. There is a great tradition of woodworkers and spirituality. This was my signature piece at the 2007 Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
